Dina was born in Forest Hills Queens and raised there. But, she relocated into Dix Hills Long Island before the close of her junior year. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers. Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger brother. When she was nine up to 16, she started working in the industry of entertainment through modeling. Her acting career began with The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied Sanford Meisner's techniques with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors to receive this kind of education. When she moved to Los Angeles, she got her first part in the Beverly Hills 90210. After being offered the lead part on Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts herself, she positioned her self as an actor that is physically fit. Her talent agent also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to score a recurring role on Friends.
