She is currently a citizen of New York City. Chando began her acting career at Manhattan College. Chando was the first Maddie Coleman of the television soap drama As World Changes. The role she played was between 2005 and 2007 before returning for several months towards the end of 2009. Alexandra first made an acting appearance in 2002 through the TV series House Blend portraying the role as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, a CBS-aired American soap opera, ran for three seasons. Alexandra was the character Maddie Coleman. Chando starred in American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009, and played Maddie Coleman in the series As the World turns. Moreover, she starred in two episodes of the American comedy-drama TV series Glory Daze as Annabelle. Her TV credits also include Castle and Hindsight.
