Chando is a resident of New York City. Chando was studying at Manhattan College when she became an actor. Chando was the role of Maddie Coleman in the TV soap show As The World Turns from 2005-2007 and, for a short period from late 2009 onwards when she returned to the character. Alexandra first made her debut as an actor in 2002 when she played Jenna Harper on the TV Series House Blend. As the World Turns was the American soap opera on television that CBS aired during three consecutive seasons. Maddie Coleman played the role. Chando was also cast as the lead actress in a documentary TV series in the US, True life, and appeared in Sherri. She starred two episodes in the American comedy drama Glory Daze. In addition, her other TV show credits are Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
