Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally when she was a teenager in Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional included The Snow Queen. Following that, Molly portrayed Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and received a nomination for the Barrymore Award. The role was reprised when making her Broadway d but at the age 15 with Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was recognized as one of the nominees for a Drama League Award. Molly was also as a character in The Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Molly then went to Princeton University where she was an active member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with the degree of a B.A. After that, she went to Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008.
